Case 8 (12522): Breast Augmentation

This 35 year old woman wanted breast enlargement (implants) and less sagging, but still look natural. She was a nurse, talked to friends and researched the internet before choosing Dr. Graham. She requested to go from 36B to C-D. She had had a benign breast biopsy 2 years earlier and the scar was hypertrophic (therefore we anticipated some thickening & pink color of any new scars). She was 5' 4" and weighted 145#. She liked 300ml sizers when she tried on implants before our mirror. The low, down-turned nipples implied she needed at least a peri-areolar lift so that she wouldn't droop more after augmentation. Augmentation mastopexy was done along with liposuction of her arms. Post-op she wore a 36 D bra, liked the contour improvement, and loved her arms. Breasts had mild scar thickening (using treatment) and normal sensation
