Case 1 (10867): Breast Reduction

This 30 year old woman was very pleased with her results from earlier cosmetic surgery by us, and wanted breast reduction. She suffered from back, neck and shoulder pain, uncomfortable bra fitting, shoulder grooving, and rashes. She noticed that her large breasts sagged, made her look heavier and clothes didn't fit well. She wore a 34 G cup bra and requested a C-D cup size postop. Outpatient reduction mammaplasty was performed. Over 450gm were removed from each breast. She resumed most activities within days, work-outs at 3 weeks and sports at 6 weeks. Scars healed without hypertrophy or keloid changes. Shoulder and back symptoms resolved.
