Case 12 (12399): Breast Reduction

This 34 year old woman was referred to see Dr. Graham by her primary care doctor, for relief of shoulder, back and neck pain. She talked with prior patients and did internet research before she met us. She had no prior breast disease, no children. She weighed 220 and stood 5' 3" tall and wore a 46 DDD bra. Her left side was larger, so more was removed to improve symmetry. Out-patient surgery was done and covered by her health insurance. She recovered well. The photos show how much of a lift is included with the reduction (see how close her tattoo is to her nipple post-op). Her body proportions are much better and symptoms are resolved.
