Case 4 (12664): Breast Reduction

This 38 year old woman was referred to Dr. Graham by both her primary care doctor and friends. She wanted breast reduction because she suffered from neck & back pain, slumping, rashes, etc. She wore a 44 DD bra and was 5' 7" and 220#. Her right breast was significantly larger then her left. Recent mammogram was normal and she was otherwise healthy. Breast reduction surgery (reduction mammaplasty) was done as an out-patient. 5.2 pounds of extra skin, fat and breast tissue were removed (2360gm). She achieved great improvement of her symptoms, and resumed work and activities with much more comfort. She looked like she lost even more weight than she actually did.
