Belly Fat: When Can We Help, and When Is It Up To You?
We frequently are asked to evaluate patients for possible improvement by liposuction & tummy tuck. One important assessment is the location of tummy fat; is it under tummy skin (accessible) or inside the abdomen, around the organs (inaccessible). We can help patients with the former. If the latter is the main problem, then surgery or non-surgical procedures will not help you. We cannot tell through photos, only through an in-person physical exam.
