Butt Augmentation: Local Quality Results, National Media Warnings

The Aesthetic Center has provided autologous fat transfer for buttock enhancement for about 20 years.  It's not a new procedure, but it has seen greatly renewed interest in the last 10 years, acquiring the pop culture title "Brazilian Butt Lift."  Along with the increased interest, non-medical personnel and non-plastic surgeons have advertised that they can do this surgical procedure.  Medical tourism has caused some to travel to South and Central America to seek care a budget prices.  All this makes it more challenging for interested patients to find safe, high quality buttock enlargement procedures by experienced plastic surgeons.

There are inherent risks with any surgical procedure, and there are some unique risks with buttock augmentation.  Several years ago there were a large number of deaths which were investigated by government authorities and national plastic surgery associations.  This resulted in a series of practice recommendations, which are similar to our practice techniques and care.

Photos at the top are six of our postop results; happy patients with better buttocks size, shape and projection.  You can view details about each of them, and their before and after photos in our Photo Gallery.
