3 Billion Dollars of Botox

That's a lot of Botox!  Americans spent $3,143,028,825 last year, according to the American Sociey of Plastic Surgeons, our national board certified plastic surgeon's organization.  It gives you some idea of how many million women and men make this a routine part of maintaining facial appearance.  This represents 7.7 million Botox treatments.  Many of you are counted among these statistics.

Injectable treatments are generally used as periodic maintenance.  Botox is usually spaced 3 or 3.5 months apart.  Injectable fillers are used less frequently at 2.4 million annually.  Some areas need touch-ups every 6 months, others can be spaced years apart.  This varies by site and by your individual response.
