Virtual Plastic Surgery Allows You to Preview Your Results
At the Aesthetic Center Greenville, we offer a wide range of rejuvenating plastic surgery procedures for patients from Greenville, SC, and surrounding communities including Spartanburg and Asheville. Our friendly, helpful, and pleasant staff, and our professional lead physician, Dr. Sutton Graham, have more than two decades of experience to call upon and are able to deliver a unique and satisfying experience for our patients. To further enhance our patient experience, we are pleased to offer VECTRA 3-D imaging. This virtual plastic surgery technology allows us to take high-resolution digital images of the patient prior to treatment, which can then be manipulated via computer to provide a close approximation of what the patient may look like after surgery. Quite simply, there is no better way to visualize the potential results of treatment, and it can be tremendously beneficial for patients who may have reservations about plastic surgery.
How the VECTRA 3-D System Works
Our plastic surgery center is the first in the greater Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville triangle to offer this technology. At Aesthetic Center Greenville, we are not early adopters of unproven technology. We rely on tried and tested technology with a proven track record to help ensure our patients enjoy superb results. You can trust that our inclusion of VECTRA 3-D imaging means that we vouch for its quality and effectiveness. It is a versatile, highly effective tool that provides us with superior pre-surgical photos from which to base our transformations.
Thanks to our in-office 3-D technology, you can preview your results and feel confident about undergoing surgery.
The most intriguing feature of the VECTRA system is its ability to digitally approximate post-surgical results. Your photos are taken with six separate cameras positioned at different angles and are then combined into one 3-D image. Once the digital images have been taken, the data is processed almost immediately so you can review the results during your initial consultation. Though we cannot guarantee that the images provided by the VECTRA 3-D system will match your post-surgical results exactly, it’s a wonderful tool that we are happy to offer.
Previewing a Breast Procedure
Many women have a desire to increase the size or enhance the shape of their breasts. Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to visualize what the results of a breast augmentation or breast lift will be by looking at implants outside of the body. Although before-and-after photos can provide you with a better idea of how a certain cup size will look when compared to your current cup size, each breast procedure is unique. The final shape and volume of the breasts will ultimately be dictated by your body, the type and size of implant that is used, and the placement technique. This is why we offer VECTRA 3-D imaging for our patients.
During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals for the procedure and explain the various options that are available, including:
- Implant types
- Insertion methods
After the 3-D imaging is complete, you and Dr. Graham can alter the image based on your wishes. The volume and shape of the implants can both be digitally altered to provide an approximation of what your final results may look like. If you find that your initial cup size request is too large or too small, we can make adjustments before your eyes until you are satisfied.
How We Use VECTRA for Facial Surgery and Chin Augmentations
The VECTRA 3-D imaging system can not only be used to photograph the breasts. It can also be used to preview surgeries for the body and face as well. The system is particularly well suited for chin augmentations. By photographing the face from six different angles in high resolution, we can visualize how a chin augmentation, facelift surgery, or brow lift will affect the profile of the face. We can also preview your results for the front of the face and how those changes will look as you rotate around the face. The difference between the 3-D imaging system and flat, 2-D profile photos must truly be seen to be appreciated. For a complete picture, you must look at the face from multiple angles, not just two. The VECTRA 3-D imaging system provides us with the ability to do so.
