Boosted Confidence & More The Benefits of Breast Augmentation

Improve Shape and Size
Breast implants can give you fuller breasts with improved projection and shape. Our plastic surgeon can provide enhancements that complement your curves for a beautiful and comprehensive result.
Create Symmetry
If your breasts are different in size or shape, breast augmentation can give your bust attractive symmetry.
Increased Self-Confidence
Breast augmentation can make you feel more secure and confident about your appearance.
Types of Breast Implants
Our commitment to safety is shown through our actions. We do not use breast implants that contain silicone gel. We place saline breast implants, which have a stronger safety profile than silicone implants.
Saline Implants
Saline implants consist of a silicone shell filled with sterile saltwater. In the event of a leak, the saline is naturally absorbed by the body.
In contrast, when silicone implants rupture, the silicone gel stays in place and can potentially cause pain or hardening of the breast tissue over time. The only way to know if the implant has ruptured is for the patient to undergo an MRI.
While implants containing silicone gel are known for natural-looking and natural-feeling results, it's important to understand that Dr. Graham excels at providing results with saline implants that look absolutely real, as well. By placing the implant below the pectoral muscle, your breast tissue is moved forward for increased bust size and a natural appearance.

The breast augmentation procedure is performed in about one hour at our Greenville, SC, surgery center.
After Receiving Breast Implants
After the breast augmentation procedure at our Greenville, SC, surgery center, you’ll be able to return home to begin the recovery process.
How Can I Manage Pain?
Our surgeon uses special techniques during surgery to minimize post-operative discomfort and speed your recovery. Medication will help manage any post-operative pain. As you recover, you will be able to taper off prescription pain medications and use Tylenol.
When Can I Start Moving Around?
You should have full range of motion in your arms and shoulders right away, and you will be able to walk around the first day after surgery. However, you'll need to avoid strenuous activity for several weeks.
When Can I Return to Normal Activities?
You can drive a car within days of your breast augmentation surgery and return to light work in about one week. Exercise should be avoided for about six weeks, or until you are cleared by our surgeon.
What Type of Bra Should I Wear?
We’ll give you a soft bra to wear for a few weeks after surgery as your breast implants settle and your incisions heal. Avoid wearing a bra with an underwire for a couple of months.
Will I Have Follow-Up Appointments?
Several follow-up office visits with your surgeon are typical after receiving breast implants, and we’ll be happy to see you for extra appointments if you have questions.
How Long Will My Results Last?
Breast implants may need to be replaced over time. Results are long lasting, but breasts may change with age and gravity. In most cases, results last at least 10 years.
Are There Any Risks?
Rupture is always a risk when it comes to implants. If your saline implant ruptures, it will quickly become apparent as the saline is harmlessly absorbed by the body (as opposed to silicone gel, which stays in place and is difficult to remove). Capsular contracture is another risk that happens in about one in six cases. Scar tissue always develops around implants, but in some cases, it can tighten and squeeze the implant, dramatically distorting its shape. This is called capsular contracture, and it can be corrected with revision surgery. If you notice any changes at all in the appearance of your breasts after breast augmentation, get in touch with Dr. Sutton right away to determine if you are experiencing capsular contracture or other conditions.
