CoolSculpting
Even with regular diet and exercise, it can be nearly impossible to target stubborn fat in typical problem areas such as your tummy or arms.
At Aesthetic Center Greenville, we offer CoolSculpting as a safe, non-surgical, and effective treatment to freeze and eliminate fat cells.
Why should you choose CoolSculpting?

Treatment is Highly Effective and Produces Long-Lasting Results
Virtually Painless
CoolSculpting requires no needles and no scalpels, and uses a gentle cooling treatment to eliminate fat cells. This makes it a great option for patients who want to get rid of fat without surgery.Very Safe
Unlike other body contouring methods that fail to distinguish between fat and other types of tissue, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure that leaves surrounding tissue whole and healthy.Incredibly Efficient
While surgical procedures can take weeks to recovery from, CoolSculpting treatment requires no recovery or downtime. Each treatment session lasts about 30 to 45 minutes.Effective
Several studies including one released by Harvard Health Publishing have found that CoolSculpting is an effective method of targeting and losing fat cells.Long-Lasting Results
As long as your weight remains stable, the effects of CoolSculpting are permanent. Most patients are able to achieve modest results in just one treatment session, but Dr. Sutton Graham can help determine whether you will need to undergo additional treatment.Watch what happens during a CoolSculpting session...

Target and Shed Stubborn Fat Cells with CoolSculpting®
Are you frustrated with stubborn fat deposits that don't respond to exercise and a healthy diet? Even our patients who have undergone substantial weight loss sometimes find themselves with persistent fatty deposits around the midsection.
At the Aesthetic Center Greenville, we offer CoolSculpting® to our patients in Greenville, SC, Asheville, Spartanburg, and surrounding communities. This innovative technology requires no needles and no incisions and is extremely safe and effective. Instead, you can simply freeze the fat! Dr. Sutton Graham can evaluate your candidacy for this method of body contouring during a consultation at our practice. Because our practice is constantly advancing our technology, we also have the newest applicators for CoolSculpting available. With CoolAdvantage and CoolAdvantage Plus, we can target and treat larger areas faster and more effectively than ever before.

What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting uses a patented technology developed by Harvard scientists to gently cool and crystallize fat cells. Once an extremely low temperature is reached, the fat cells die. Because fatty lipids crystallize faster than other tissues, like nerves and skin, surrounding tissue remains unaffected. The procedure is completely non-invasive, and the cooling technology is administered using smooth paddles that gently isolate and target the treatment area. Some immediate results are typically noticeable, but the full benefit of your treatment will become apparent within a few months as the body metabolizes and naturally eliminates the treated fat cells.
As long as your weight remains stable, the effects of CoolSculpting are permanent.
Are You a Good Candidate for Treatment?
Ideal candidates should be in good general health and within 20 pounds of their desired target weight. CoolSculpting can be used to remove stubborn fatty bulges on the flank (love handles) and abdomen. We can also target larger areas with CoolAdvantage and CoolAdvantage Plus. These applicators are designed to treat different body types more effectively and in less time. During a consultation, Dr. Graham will perform a thorough examination and discuss your aesthetic goals to determine whether CoolSculpting is right for you.
Potential Risks and Side Effects
Because it is non-invasive, CoolSculpting carries little risk. Some patients report some pressure and intense cold during the procedure, but it is minimal enough that many read or work on the computer during their visit. Side effects can include:
- Tenderness
- Itching
- Tingling
- Numbness
- Redness
- In rare cases, bruising and swelling
Although numbness can persist for a few weeks after your procedure, this is normal and will resolve on its own. During periodic check-ups at our office, Dr. Graham will monitor your healing process.
