Thigh Reduction / Thighplasty: Case 2 (CID2905830)
Description
63 year old woman who accomplished dramatic loss of unwanted, excess weight. The stretched, lax, excess skin was unable to retract or tighten-up on its own, so she requested help removing excessive skin. Two areas were most bothersome for her; arms and thighs. This was managed by arm tuck, also known as brachioplasty, and thigh lift or tuck, known as thighplasty. Each of these procedures takes a few hours in the operating room and leaves a scar along the inner upper arm or inner thigh. These scars are made as inconspicuous as possible, but are a significant trade-off when considering cosmetic surgery for this condition. She is happy that she made that choice and pleased with how much better she looks. Even though this photo gallery section features thigh photos, the arm photos are added for additional information.
