Breast Nipple & Areola : Case 2 (09427)
Description
This 45 year old woman sought correction of long-standing left unilateral nipple inversion. She had no history of breast disease and no prior left nipple surgery. The breast was otherwise natural and attractive. Correction was done under local anesthesia. The underlying shortened ducts and fibrous tissue were divided, and natural nipple tissue turned outward. The tiny scar healed well. Both breasts and nipples appear matched now.
