Male Breast / Gynecomastia: Case 2, 15503
Description
This 15 year old man was referred by his physician after noting a 2 year history of right sided breast enlargement (gynecomastia). The area had grown slowly during that period, without pain. Endocrine evaluation revealed no hormone problems. There were no signs of tumor formation. His left side was normal. He was completely healthy otherwise. We agreed to remove the excessive growth and he recovered well. The tissue pathology show only typical gynecomastia. He was able to resume sports and all activities with an invisible scar.
