Body Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty: Case 18 (17745)

Description

This 39 y/o woman because she wanted to get back in a swimsuit. She was in good health and body weight. She exercised regularly. She had 3 children. She wanted a tighter, flatter tummy. During her examination, Dr. Graham determined she had mild skin laxity on her abdomen, rather most of her fullness came from stretched fibrous tissues and minor subcutaneous fat. We recommended a short-scar modification of a tummy tuck. Some surgeons refer to this as a mini-abdominoplasty, or lipo-abdominoplasty. It reduces the length of the bikini area scar, while allowing muscle tightening and overall fat reduction. In addition, she had a breast lift, which makes the tummy look even longer and leaner (mommy make-over). She recovered very well, getting of prescription pain meds in two days.
