Body Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty: Case 22 (30647)

Description

This 30 y/o mom of 3 was finished having children, worked-out 4-5 times per week, had a nice BMI of 24, and wanted Dr. Graham's help looking her best. She was referred by her mother, who was a satisfied prior patient. Consultation included discussion of her concerns: flap of abdominal skin, irregular lower abdominal skin, sagging breast appearance. She could get wonderful improvements through a series of procedures which are together known as "the mommy make-over." The recommendations included tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and liposuction contouring of the flanks and lateral chest, adding breast lift (mastopexy) with very small implants for enhanced contour, . The operation was performed in our accredited office surgical facility. Seven inches of vertical skin excess was removed, weighing 530gm. Three inches of slack in the abdominal muscle layers was tightened-up. A small amount of anterior flank fat was removed with liposuction. Her postop course has been smooth. The postop photos show healing incision scars that are only 4 months along. All these will fade much more by 12 months. The small vertical scar above the pubic area shows the remnant of her prior belly button location. "I love it. Very impressed," was her impression.
