Breast Reduction: Case 33 (30183)

Description

This 43 y/o BF was referred to Dr. Graham by another happy patient, to relieve her numerous symptoms caused by very large breasts. She had had large droopy breasts for decades. She had shoulder grooving, shoulder strap discomfort, shoulder pain, upper back pain, and pain at the base of the neck. Large breasts caused slumped posture, embarrassment, and problems with clothing fit. Exercise would be very difficult. She had had 2 children. Her height was 5' 7" and her weight was 240#. Her bra size was larger than 46 DD. She requested a full C or small D. She was well informed by her research and consultation with at least one other surgeon. Surgery was successful at removing 800gm of tissue from each side. After healing, her new bra size was 40 C or smaller and she was extremely pleased. She retained natural sensation (no numbness). "My back feels so much better. I sleep better. Working is easier sitting at a computer."
