Breast Reduction: Case 35 (32154)

Description

This 38 year old woman consulted the Aesthetic Center about large, heavy breasts. She wore 32G cup bras and would prefer a D cup. She wore special support bras, tried heating pads, oral pain medication, chiropractic and massages all without relief. Pain was present throughout the day in her shoulders, upper back and the base of her neck. She occasionally had headaches, arm and back numbness. Breast reduction surgery was the best answer to relieve her symptoms. In addition to large size, her breasts were droopy which contributed to her discomfort. Breast reduction surgery always includes breast lift. Surgery was completed about nine months ago. Her scars are nicely faded. Her sensation is normal. Her comments on the experience: "Honestly I forgot I had surgery." "I started running again."
