Breast Lift / Mastopexy: Case 34 (30029)

Description

This is an unusual incidence of prominent breast sagging (breast ptosis) in a young woman. She was a 20 year old student whose mother was a happy patient and asked Dr. Graham to evaluate her breast appearance. She was healthy, 5' 7" and 165 lbs. She wore 34 D cup bras, her left side being slightly larger. Dr. Graham's assessment that she actually had about a C cup volume, but that the larger bra fit because of her sagging. She said, "I want my breasts lifted. They are really saggy for my age." We agreed. We have also helped other patients in their twenties. We proposed a mastopexy or breast lift, under anesthesia in our own private surgery facility. During each postop visit she always said she was "doing great." She recovered smoothly, needing little pain medicine. At two and one-half months postop her incisions are beginning to fade and her contour is beautiful.
