Breast Lift / Mastopexy: Case 43 (CID2491591)
Description
This youthful 50 year old was happy having had breast implants 20 years ago, but she wanted to improve her breast appearance. She felt it was time for a lift and new implants. In addition, her current implants drifted to the side while lying back. Her breasts were otherwise normal, and she was in excellent health. Dr. Graham suggested the procedure know as mastopexy in addition to new saline implants. The mastopexy would include inner pocket tightening, internally lifting the implants themselves, removing loose skin across the lower breast, and shifting the areola and nipple to a favorable position, while slightly decreasing the areola diameter. These procedures were done in our accredited surgical facility. She was able to return to light activities within days and exercise in 3 weeks. Her incision scars are healing very well. And her breasts are perkier and have excellent size and shape.
