Breast Augmentation : Case 34 (14943)

Description

This 46 year old woman was referred by a happy patient of the Aesthetic Center for Breast and Cosmetic Surgery for breast augmentation. She was in excellent health with no prior breast problems, normal recent mammograms, and the history of breast-feeding 2 children. Her pre-op bra size was 38C, standing 5' 8" tall, and weighing 140#. She wanted more attractive breasts, less sagging, and not too much larger cup size. We discussed alternatives and let her try on various sizers, choosing to add 290ml implants. This was done as an out-patient with no post-op difficulties. During follow-up she reported little post-op pain, normal nipple sensation, and she began wearing 36 D cup bras. "Everything was great. I love my new look."
